MNC interviews are usually at higher levels compared to domestic companies although many domestic companies have also high standards of interviewing. One can expect a lot of thoughtful questions, situations based questions, questions that test your job skills, technical questions related to the job etc. Your intellect will be thoroughly tested.

The HR interview round is the most crucial part of the placement. This decides one's fate whether they will be placed in the company or be eliminated. So in order to crack HR interview you can follow the following tips:-

Research thoroughly about the job profile that you are applying for. About the job role, skill-set required, educational qualifications, etc.
If possible, try to find out who is going to take the interview and visit his/her profile in LinkedIn and do a background research on them.
Prepare your resume well, make sure to showcase your skills and work experience according to the job description. This will increase your chances of getting hired.
Go through your resume thoroughly, and try to figure out every possible question the recruiters can ask depending on the projects, work experience, and skills you are mentioning in your resume. Try to mention only the skills and knowledge that you are good at.
Prepare some of the common questions the HRs ask like “What are your weaknesses and strengths?”, “Why do you want to join the company”? , “What are your salary expectations?”, “Are you comfortable with rotational shifts?”, etc.
